Decode ME
Following the very exciting initial findings from the Decode ME study, which found that people with a Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME/CFS) diagnosis have significant genetic differences in their DNA compared to the general population, we were delighted to hear BBC Radio Wales cover the study – and people’s lived experiences – in detail during an episode of The Phone in with Oliver Hides.

The consultation on Welsh Government’s upcoming Draft Disabled People’s Rights plan is now open. The plan, based on the work of the Disability Rights Taskforce (of which FTWW is a member organisation), sets out a 10-year ambition and the long-term outcomes the Welsh Government is working towards to ensure disabled people can flourish as equal members of Welsh society, and to challenge discrimination and prejudice.
