Our reports and manifestos<\/h1>\n

Our members have real-life experience of accessing healthcare from within Wales and it is these unique perspectives and priorities that FTWW seeks to impart in its patient-led reports and manifestos. <\/span><\/h4>\n

FTWW spends a lot of time gathering our community\u2019s views and opinions on health and care-related topics. We do this through ongoing dialogue with our members in our online group, surveys, and focus groups.<\/p>\n

We also regularly engage our members in discussion on other issues which matter to them and sit within our remit of addressing health inequities, for example, the need for reasonable adjustments in the workplace, the multiple causes of poverty and how this can both cause and perpetuate poor health, disability issues and rights, and the importance of co-production in services.<\/p>\n

We do this to provide external bodies with the information they need to develop better, more inclusive clinical guidance, policies, and practices in Wales and the UK.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As co-chairs of the #WomensHealthWales coalition, FTWW and BHF Cymru facilitated the co-production of a Quality Statement for the Health of Women, Girls and those Assigned Female in Wales.<\/p>\n

The report discusses how women in Wales have poorer health outcomes than men and urgent action is needed to ensure they receive equal care and treatment.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was based on the discussions held by our members in a series of Focus Groups held online in October 2020. Our sincerest gratitude to all those involved.
