Snowdon Challenge<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Between 1st – 7th September<\/strong>, two of our biggest supporters, Heidi<\/strong> ac Iona<\/strong>, will embark on the challenge of walking up Snowdon every day to raise funds for FTWW, Fair Treatment for the Women of Wales<\/span><\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The pair will be walking a different path each day and would welcome company \u2013 so, if anyone would like to join them on all \/ part of their challenge, the order of paths to be undertaken is as follows: –<\/p>\n

Day 1: Llanberis path<\/strong> \u2013 meet at the Llanberis railway station @ 8:00am, Grid Ref OS OL17 583598<\/em><\/p>\n

Day 2: Pyg track<\/strong> – meet at the public car park at Pen y Pass @ 8:00am, Grid Ref OS OL17 648557<\/em><\/p>\n

Day 3: Miners Track<\/strong> – meet at the public car park at Pen y Pass @ 8:00am, Grid Ref OS OL17 648557\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

* Due to gale force winds, heavy rain and poor visibility forecast, we unfortunately had to make the decision to cancel Sunday’s hike. We hope you understand, safety is paramount!<\/p>\n

Day 4: Watkin Path<\/strong> – meet at the public car park at Nant Gwynant @ 8:00am, Grid Ref OS OL17 629506<\/em><\/p>\n

Day 5: Rhyd-Ddu Path<\/strong> – meet at the public car park in Rhyd – Ddu @ 12:00pm, Grid Ref OS OL17 571526<\/em><\/p>\n

* Once again due to the heavy rain and poor visibility on Snowdon, we’ve had to cancel today’s hike. Hoping for better weather for the last two days!<\/p>\n

Day 6: Snowdon Ranger Path<\/strong> – meet at the car park by Llyn Cwellyn reservoir @ 8:00am, Grid Ref OS OL17 563552<\/em><\/p>\n

Day 7: Llanberis Path<\/strong> – meet at the Llanberis railway station @ 8:00am, Grid Ref OS OL17 583598<\/em><\/p>\n

The pair ask, ‘If you plan on joining us please ensure to bring appropriate clothing, footwear, food and drink for the day\u2019s hiking.<\/p>\n

‘It\u2019s also really important to be at the relevant meeting points by 8am, ready to start.<\/p>\n

‘It would be fantastic if people could join us and raise awareness for FTWW, the only Wales-based women\u2019s health equality organisation. All are welcome \u2013 in fact, the more the merrier, whether it\u2019s for the entire route or just a small section.’<\/p>\n
