As part of the Welsh Government\u2019s work on the Women\u2019s Health Plan,\u00a0officials have released a \u2018Discovery\u2019 document<\/strong><\/a>, highlighting the work undertaken so far to understand the needs of women in Wales by asking what matters to them.<\/p>\n

As co-chairs of the Women\u2019s Health Wales Coalition, which is made up of over 80 third sector organisations, Royal colleges, clinicians, and patients, we remain concerned that co-production with patients and public is properly embedded in all work related to the Women\u2019s Health Plan and that Coalition members\u2019 expertise is utilised\u00a0throughout.<\/p>\n

This month we met with Welsh Government officials to share these concerns and make a compelling case for a fully co-productive approach to the Plan\u2019s design, implementation, and evaluation. We will be feeding back to the Women\u2019s Health Wales Coalition and discussing this further with them on 16th February.
