Yn y r\u00f4l hon, rwy'n siarad ar ran menywod sy'n wynebu oedi diagnostig, cefnogaeth annigonol, ac anghydraddoldebau ar draws gwasanaethau mamolaeth a gynaecolegol.<\/p>\n<p>Roedd dod \u00e2'r profiad hwn, yn broffesiynol a phersonol, i le fel T\u0177'r Cyffredin yn teimlo'n bwerus, gan seilio trafodaethau'r digwyddiad ar effaith y bylchau mewn gwasanaeth yn y byd go iawn.<\/p>\n<p>Yn ystod mis Chwefror (2026), cefais y fraint o deithio i Lundain i gynrychioli mamau yng Nghymru a Thriniaeth Deg i Fenywod Cymru (FTWW). Roedd y digwyddiad, a gynhaliwyd yn Nh\u0177'r Cyffredin dan ofal yr AS Karen Smith ochr yn ochr \u00e2 Mothers for Mothers, yn dathlu eu pen-blwydd yn 45 oed a hefyd lansiwyd adroddiad The Truth Is Out There, adroddiad arbennig sy'n codi lleisiau 23,000 o fenywod a rhai sy\u2019n rhoi genedigaeth ar eu profiadau o ofal iechyd meddwl amenedigol ledled y DU.<\/p>\n<p>Roedd mynychu'r digwyddiad nid yn unig fel eiriolwr ond hefyd fel claf \u00e2 phrofiad personol yn ei wneud yn arbennig o ystyrlon. Ar \u00f4l datblygu sepsis mamol yn ystod y cyfnod esgor ac wynebu heriau iechyd meddwl sylweddol ar \u00f4l genedigaeth fy mab, roedd bod mewn lle i roi sylw penodol i iechyd meddwl amenedigol yn teimlo'n bersonol iawn ac yn bwysig.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Yngl\u0177n \u00e2 Mothers for Mothers a'r Cymorth y maen nhw'n ei Gynnig<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mae Mothers for Mothers yn elusen iechyd meddwl amenedigol arbenigol sy'n cefnogi mamau, pobl sy'n rhoi genedigaeth a theuluoedd. Mae wedi bod yn gweithio am dros 45 mlynedd, gan gynnig cefnogaeth gynnar, dosturiol ac ymarferol i'r rhai sy'n profi heriau emosiynol neu iechyd meddwl yn ystod beichiogrwydd a hyd at ddwy flynedd ar \u00f4l geni.<\/p>\n<p>Maent yn darparu:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gwasanaeth cwnsela wedi'i deilwra i brofiadau amenedigol.<\/li>\n<li>Grwpiau cymorth cymheiriaid (ar-lein ac wyneb yn wyneb)<\/li>\n<li>Llinell gymorth sy'n cael ei rhedeg gan gyfoedion hyfforddedig sy\u2019n rhoi cefnogaeth<\/li>\n<li>Allgymorth ac ymweliadau cartref i deuluoedd sydd angen cymorth ychwanegol<\/li>\n<li>Ffocws pwrpasol ar leihau ynysu a chefnogi adferiad<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Gallwch ddysgu mwy am eu gwasanaethau neu gael cymorth yma:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/mothersformothers.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/mothersformothers.co.uk\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Beth mae'r Ymchwil yn ei Ddangos<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mae'r ymchwil dan arweiniad cymheiriaid, a gomisiynwyd gan Mothers for Mothers ac a gynhaliwyd gan ymchwilwyr UCL, yn datgelu sawl thema allweddol:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mae gwasanaethau iechyd meddwl amenedigol yn brin o adnoddau, ac mae iechyd meddwl yn dal i beidio \u00e2 chael blaenoriaeth.<\/li>\n<li>Mae cefnogaeth yn tueddu i fod yn ymatebol yn hytrach na rhagweithiol.<\/li>\n<li>Mae cyswllt gyda gweithwyr gofal iechyd proffesiynol yn bwysig, mae'r rhyngweithio yma\u2019n dylanwadu ar allu pobl i siarad.<\/li>\n<li>Mae pwysau bywyd ehangach yn dylanwadu ar iechyd meddwl yn sylweddol.<\/li>\n<li>Nid yw rhieni yn cuddio symptomau, yn syml, nid ydynt yn cael eu clywed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Mae'r canfyddiadau yn atgyfnerthu un neges glir:<br \/>\nNid rhywbeth delfrydol yw iechyd meddwl; mae'n hanfodol i fenywod, pobl sy'n rhoi genedigaeth, babanod, a chenedlaethau'r dyfodol.<\/p>\n<p>Mae newid ystyrlon yn gofyn am lwybrau gofal safonedig, cymorth wedi'i bersonoli, a gwasanaethau sydd wedi'u cynllunio'n fwriadol o gwmpas anghenion y defnyddiwr terfynol.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eiliad a fy Ysbrydolodd<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Un o rannau mwyaf pwerus y dydd oedd yr araith a draddodwyd gan Mars Lord, doula sydd wedi ennill gwobrau, addysgwr, mentor, a sylfaenydd Abuela Doulas, un o raglenni hyfforddi cyntaf y DU a gr\u00ebwyd yn benodol ar gyfer gweithwyr geni Du a Brown. Mae Mars yn hyfforddi gweithwyr geni cynhwysol, sy'n cael eu cymell gan gyfiawnder, gan eu harfogi i herio anghydraddoldebau systemig a darparu gofal diwylliannol cymwys.<\/p>\n<p>Mae Mars yn llais blaenllaw a hanfodol ym maes iechyd mamau Du, ac yn ei haraith angerddol gofynnodd gwestiwn sydd wedi aros gyda mi:<\/p>\n<p>\"Os yw menywod gwyn eu croen yn cael trafferth... yna sut mae'r menywod du eu croen yn ymdopi?\"<\/p>\n<p>Roedd ei geiriau yn deimladwy iawn, ac roedd y digwyddiad yn seiliedig ar yr anghydraddoldeb sy\u2019n bodoli, a\u2019r angen i fynd i'r afael \u00e2 hyn ar frys. Fe wnaeth araith Mars fy atgoffa bod iechyd menywod, gan gynnwys iechyd meddwl amenedigol, angen lleisiau sy'n barod nid yn unig i siarad, ond i siarad yn uwch.<\/p>\n<p>Cryfhaodd fy mhenderfyniad fy hun i barhau i eirioli, rhannu profiad personol, a phwyso am newid yng Nghymru a thu hwnt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Y Darlun Mawr<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"translation-block\">Mae <strong>1 o bob 4<\/strong> menyw a phobl sy'n rhoi genedigaeth yn profi salwch meddwl amenedigol.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nid yw dros hanner yn derbyn unrhyw gymorth arbenigol.<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Yn y bwlch hwn, mae mudiadau VCSE, gan gynnwys Mothers for Mothers, yn aml yn darparu'r unig gefnogaeth gyson trwy gwnsela, grwpiau cyfoedion, llinellau cymorth, cymorth ymarferol, ac eiriolaeth.<\/p>\n<p>Yet these organisations face <strong>unstable, short-term funding<\/strong>, rising demand, and the need for <strong>stronger collaboration with the NHS<\/strong>, alongside better awareness among health professionals of the support they offer.<\/p>\n<p>Wrth sefyll yn Nh\u0177'r Cyffredin ymysg ymchwilwyr, clinigwyr, eiriolwyr, arweinwyr elusennau, a rhieni gwnaed un peth yn glir:<br \/>\n<strong>Mae \u2028teuluoedd yn haeddu gwell, ac mae gwella iechyd meddwl amenedigol yn gofyn am ymrwymiad, cyllid a gweithredu.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-251912 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/ftww.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Eliza_house_of_commons-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"Menyw \u00e2 gwallt golau yn gwisgo dillad du gyda laniard gwirfoddolwr FTWW  yn sefyll o flaen llun yn y T\u0177 Cyffredin.
