Ond wrth wrando ar y profiadau mae menywod yn eu disgrifio, yn enwedig pan fyddan nhw wedi bod ar HRT ers sawl blwyddyn neu'n cyrraedd eu 60au cynnar, yr awgrym yw nad yw llawer o fenywod yn cael trafodaethau personol, a bod clinigwyr yn aml yn teimlo'n ansicr yngl\u0177n \u00e2\u2019r ffordd orau o lywio'r sgyrsiau hyn. Bydd Astudiaeth CANDOUR yn datblygu ffyrdd clir, seiliedig ar dystiolaeth, o wella\u2019r cyfathrebu a chefnogi penderfyniadau gwell yn y maes pwysig hwn sy\u2019n ymwneud \u00e2 iechyd menywod.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Arweinydd yr Astudiaeth a Sefydliadau Partner<\/strong><br \/>\nMae'r astudiaeth yn<strong> cael arwain ar y cyd gan:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Dr Kathryn Hughes<\/strong>, Uwch Ddarlithydd Clinigol, Is-adran Meddygaeth Boblogaeth, Prifysgol Caerdydd<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dr Susan Channon<\/strong>, Uwch Gymrawd Ymchwil, Canolfan Treialon Ymchwil, Prifysgol Caerdydd.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Mae'r prosiect yn dwyn ynghyd arbenigedd o sawl canolfan ymchwil gyda chyllid gan Ymchwil Iechyd a Gofal Cymru ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd, gan gynnwys Canolfan Ymchwil i Ofal Sylfaenol a Brys Cymru (PRIME), Ymchwil Iechyd Menywod Cymru (WHRW) a'r Ganolfan Treialon Ymchwil (CTR), ochr yn ochr \u00e2 chydweithwyr o'r Ysgol Fferylliaeth a\u2019r Gwyddorau Fferyllol ac mewn cydweithrediad \u00e2 Chanolfan Dystiolaeth Ymchwil Iechyd a Gofal Cymru.<\/p>\n<p>Bydd cyfranogiad cryf gan y cyhoedd yn ganolog i CANDOUR. Yn bartner yn yr astudiaeth bydd Fair Treatment for the Women of Wales (FTWW), sefydliad eiriolaeth cenedlaethol sy'n dod \u00e2 phrofiad bywyd, arbenigedd polisi a dau bartner ymchwil cyhoeddus ynghyd. Bydd partneriaid cyfranogiad y cyhoedd yn cyd-gynhyrchu deunyddiau astudio, yn cefnogi prosesau recriwtio, ac yn helpu i lunio'r adnodd cefnogi penderfyniadau fydd yn cael ei ddatblygu.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Beth fydd yr astudiaeth yn ei wneud<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dros yr 17 mis nesaf, bydd t\u00eem CANDOUR yn dwyn ynghyd y dystiolaeth bresennol, data presgripsiwn yng Nghymru, a phrofiadau go iawn menywod a chlinigwyr i ddeall sut beth fyddai sgyrsiau gwell am HRT. Gan ddefnyddio'r wybodaeth hon, byddan nhw\u2019n cyd-ddylunio prototeip o adnodd cefnogi penderfyniadau ar gyfer gofal sylfaenol ac yn gosod cynllun i rannu a gweithredu'r canfyddiadau ledled Cymru, gyda manteision posibl i'r DU yn ehangach.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pam mae\u2019n bwysig<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bydd llawer o fenywod yng Nghymru yn ystyried neu'n defnyddio HRT. Gall penderfyniadau yngl\u0177n \u00e2 pharhau neu stopio HRT fod yn gymhleth oherwydd symptomau, risgiau iechyd, pryder ynghylch stopio triniaeth, ac amrywiadau eang o ran ymarfer clinigol.
