Daeth clinigwyr, ymgyrchwyr, cyflogwyr a phobl sydd \u00e2 phrofiad personol at ei gilydd i drafod sut y gallai gweithleoedd roi gwell cefnogaeth i bobl sydd \u00e2\u2019r cyflwr.<\/p>\n<p>Ychydig fisoedd yn ddiweddarach, mae\u2019r ymchwiliad wedi cyhoeddi ei ganfyddiadau. Mae\u2019r ystadegau\u2019n drawiadol, ond y tu \u00f4l i bob rhif mae rhywun sy\u2019n ceisio rheoli cyflwr cronig ochr yn ochr \u00e2 gwaith, uchelgeisiau gyrfaol a bywyd bob dydd.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Edrych yn \u00f4l ar y lansiad<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yn y lansiad, pwysleisiodd y siaradwyr pa mor bwysig yw clywed gan y gweithwyr a\u2019r cyflogwyr eu hunain. Dywedodd pobl sut roeddent yn cael anhawster i gael mynediad at gymorth, rheoli symptomau yn y gwaith a diogelu eu gyrfaoedd a\u2019u llesiant.<\/p>\n<p>Deuthum oddi yno gan deimlo\u2019n obeithiol y byddai rhannu\u2019r profiadau hyn yn arwain at ddealltwriaeth gliriach o\u2019r heriau y mae pobl yn eu hwynebu yn y gwaith.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mae\u2019n amhosibl anwybyddu\u2019r canfyddiadau<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Clywodd yr ymchwiliad gan fwy na 6,200 o weithwyr sydd wedi cael cadarnhad o endometriosis, neu yr amheuir bod y cyflwr arnynt, a 250 o gyflogwyr.<\/p>\n<p>Mae rhai o\u2019r canfyddiadau\u2019n drawiadol iawn:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Roedd 97% o\u2019r ymatebwyr wedi gweithio tra oeddent yn profi poen difrifol.<\/li>\n<li>Roedd 94% yn teimlo nad oedd gan gyflogwyr ddealltwriaeth dda o endometriosis.<\/li>\n<li>Roedd 62% yn poeni yngl\u0177n \u00e2 cholli eu gwaith yn gyfan gwbl.<\/li>\n<li>Roedd bron i hanner yr ymatebwyr heb gael addasiadau yn y gweithle.<\/li>\n<li>Roedd bron i hanner yr ymatebwyr yn s\u00f4n am anawsterau wrth geisio camu ymlaen \u00e2\u2019u gyrfa.<\/li>\n<li>Roedd llawer wedi colli incwm, lleihau eu horiau, gwrthod cyfleoedd neu hyd yn oed adael swyddi oherwydd eu cyflwr.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Mae\u2019r ffigurau hyn yn dychryn rhywun, ond nid ydynt yn ein synnu. Drwy grwpiau cymorth, eiriolaeth, ac o\u2019m profiad fy hun, rwy\u2019n clywed stor\u00efau tebyg yn rheolaidd.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mwy na rhifau<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Y tu \u00f4l i\u2019r ffigurau mae pobl sy\u2019n dal i weithio tra\u2019n rheoli poen difrifol, blinder llethol, apwyntiadau, gwella ar \u00f4l llawdriniaeth ac ansicrwydd.<\/p>\n<p>Mae llawer yn gwneud popeth sydd yn eu gallu i aros mewn gwaith, ond yn dal i deimlo pwysau i geisio dal ati\u2019n dawel, neu\u2019n poeni sut y bydd pobl eraill yn gweld eu cyflwr.<\/p>\n<p>Mae\u2019r adroddiad yn dangos bod ar bobl sydd \u00e2 chyflyrau anwadal, hirdymor angen mwy o ymwybyddiaeth, canllawiau cliriach ac addasiadau ymarferol yn y gweithle.<\/p>\n<p>Mae llawer o atebion yn rhai syml: gweithio hyblyg, rheolwyr cefnogol, amser o\u2019r gwaith ar gyfer apwyntiadau, dychwelyd yn raddol ar \u00f4l llawdriniaeth, a sgyrsiau agored \u2013 mae\u2019r rhain i gyd yn gallu helpu pobl i aros mewn gwaith a symud ymlaen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pam y mae hyn yn bwysig<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I mi, mae\u2019r adroddiad yn dangos pam y mae mwy o ymwybyddiaeth ac eiriolaeth barhaus mor bwysig.<\/p>\n<p>Mae gwell dealltwriaeth ymhlith cyflogwyr, rheolwyr, cydweithwyr, gweithwyr proffesiynol gofal iechyd a llunwyr polis\u00efau yn arwain at well penderfyniadau, mynediad haws at gymorth a llai o bobl yn teimlo\u2019n ynysig neu\u2019n cael eu hanwybyddu.<\/p>\n<p>Dechreuodd y lansiad sgwrs bwysig, ac mae\u2019r adroddiad wedi pwysleisio ei phwysigrwydd. Yr her nawr yw troi canfyddiadau\u2019r adroddiad yn weithredu ystyrlon.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Beth sy\u2019n digwydd nesaf?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mae\u2019r adroddiad yn galw ar y llywodraeth, cyflogwyr a sefydliadau i weithio gyda\u2019i gilydd er mwyn gwella cymorth yn y gweithle i bobl sydd ag endometriosis.<\/p>\n<p>Mae\u2019n rhoi darlun pwerus ar gyfer y DU yn ei chyfanrwydd, ac yn dangos sut y gall newidiadau yn y gwaith chwalu llawer o\u2019r rhwystrau y mae pobl yn eu hwynebu. Ond byddwn wedi hoffi gweld mwy am brofiadau pobl yng Nghymru, yn enwedig effaith byw mewn ardal wledig, mynediad at ofal arbenigol a sut y gallai polisi a chyd-destun deddfwriaethol gwahanol Cymru gefnogi newid.<\/p>\n<p>Ar \u00f4l teithio o ardal wledig Canolbarth Cymru i San Steffan i ymuno \u00e2\u2019r sgwrs, rwy\u2019n cael fy nghalonogi bod profiad personol wedi helpu i siapio\u2019r ddadl ehangach.
