{"id":3357,"date":"2019-05-21T04:19:38","date_gmt":"2019-05-21T03:19:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ftww.co.uk\/?p=3357"},"modified":"2019-05-21T04:19:38","modified_gmt":"2019-05-21T03:19:38","slug":"representing-welsh-patients-at-the-bsge-conference-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ftww.org.uk\/cy\/2019\/05\/21\/representing-welsh-patients-at-the-bsge-conference-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"FTWW Represents Patients at the BSGE Conference 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ftww.co.uk\/about-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>FTWW<\/strong><\/span><\/a> is really thrilled to have been invited to the BSGE &#8211; British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy, conference at Celtic Manor, Newport, by host and lead Cardiff endometriosis specialist, Richard Penketh, to deliver the patient perspective to a global audience.<\/p>\n<p>The BSGE conference is one way in which FTWW&#8217;s place at the heart of healthcare for women in Wales is being cemented; we represent the power of patient advocacy as key to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ftww.co.uk\/welsh-govt-endo-update\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>co-producing services for endo patients<\/strong><\/span><\/a> across Wales. #PatientPower<\/p>\n<p>Quite literally #EndoWarriors, FTWW&#8217;s lived experience representatives Lotte and Natalie have not only battled this disease themselves but are now telling their stories to prevent future generations suffering similarly #Prevention=EarlyIntervention &#8211; better outcomes for everyone involved!<\/p>\n<p>FTWW has achieved all it has on a shoestring &#8211; we now represent women with all manner of health issues across Wales, giving women here a voice at a local, national, political, and strategic level &#8211; but we cannot do it without YOUR help.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ftww.co.uk\/donate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">PLEASE donate<\/span><\/strong> <\/a>if you can &#8211; we can&#8217;t help others without you helping us!&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Who says volunteers, patients with a cause, can&#8217;t have impact across Wales?
