DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to share details of an upcoming Living with Endometriosis information day\, organised by our good friends at Endometriosis UK\, which will take place in Cardiff on Saturday 27th September. \nThe event will aim to provide attendees with information\, knowledge and the opportunity to meet and connect with others through the day. The event will include presentations and workshops relevant to living with endometriosis from a range of speakers including doctors\, physiotherapists and nurses. \nTopics include: what is endometriosis\, nutrition\, menopause\, practical management\, pelvic physiotherapy\, recurrence of symptoms and research\, and GP chat. \nEndometriosis UK have kindly invited us to have a stand at the event\, so please do come and say hello if you’re attending! \nEndometriosis is one of FTWW’s main campaign areas\, but we will also provide information and advice on a wide range of other health issues\, as well as share opportunities to get involved with our mission to eliminate health inequalities in Wales for women\, girls and people registered female at birth. \nFull details can be found over on the Endometriosis UK website – you must register in advance in order to attend. \nWe hope to see you there!

SUMMARY:WOMB Summer Festival 2025
DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to be attending this year’s festival on Saturday 26th July at The Grange Pavillion in Cardiff\, celebrating all things menstruation\, birth\, menopause – and everything in between! \nDee will be on a panel alongside colleagues from EYST\, BAWSO\, and Mothers Matter\, covering ‘Community is the Missing Medicine: How the third sector is filling the gaps left behind.’ FTWW Volunteers will also be in attendance providing information\, advice and support at the FTWW table. \nOther panellists include Parents and Teachers for Palestine\, poet Taylor Edmonds\, and Queer Parents Cardiff\, and there will be a series of workshops including Yoga\, Qi Gong\, Yoga Nidra\, journalling\, and baby sensory play. \nWe hope you can join us – tickets are just £15 for an entire day of talks\, workshops\, and classes\, and under-18s can attend for free! \nYou can also share the Facebook event page with friends and family here.

DESCRIPTION:We are delighted that the Everywoman Festival is returning to Cardiff on Saturday 7th June at Insole Court. We’re particularly pleased to see the growth of the education area\, which will provide a much-needed space for young people to access trusted information regarding their health – their parents are encouraged to attend too! \nThe Festival promises some great talks and activities\, and they’re offering free tickets to 12-18 year olds\, plus discounted tickets for students. \nFTWW will also be in attendance\, so do come along and see us!
