Pregnancy loss

We know that pregnancy loss – also referred to as miscarriage and ‘recurrent miscarriage’ if it happens more than once – is a priority issue for many members of our community.

We are currently collating information about this health issue. If you would like to contribute to this, or share your story, please contact us.

In the meantime, FTWW published a community-led report on this topic in 2018 to which members of the organisation contributed extensively. The report sets out what changes need to happen to improve care and services for those affected by pregnancy loss in Wales. You can access it below:

Making the Case for Better Miscarriage Care in Wales

This report provides NHS Wales with the service-user perspective of miscarriage care in Wales and how it could be improved to reduce the harm being caused by poor-quality, inconsistent care.
