Our services
Lived experience is at the centre of everything we do. We deliver training, talks, presentations and focus groups to educate businesses and organisations on women’s health issues, and facilitate public and patient involvement and co-production.
Why choose FTWW?
FTWW has built up an inclusive community of 10,000+ people, many of which are women, girls and those registered female at birth who have lived experience of physical or mental health conditions, including disability. The powerful insights from our community are invaluable for businesses and organisations who want to improve healthcare and public services in Wales.
By commissioning FTWW’s services, you are helping us continue to offer peer-support to women and those registered female at birth (AFAB) who are affected by long-term health conditions across Wales, and to ensure that their voices are heard in health policy and practice in Wales and across the UK.

We also advise stakeholders on how these barriers might be addressed, demonstrating that positive action is indeed possible!

Patient involvement and co-production
We want to ensure that womens’ voices are heard and influence positive change in health and public service design and delivery. If patient involvement and co-production is important to you, we would love to work with you.
Public & Patient Involvement
According to the Health Research Authority, involving people with relevant lived experience in the design and development of research can improve its quality and relevance.
If you are a researcher or educational institution, FTWW can help facilitate public and patient involvement in your research projects.
This can include:
- Ensuring you reach the right people, including patients and service users, and carers.
- Facilitating focus groups
- Undertaking targeted surveys
Co-production
People with lived experience can and should play a vital role in shaping healthcare and public services to make sure they meet the needs of the communities they serve.
Co-production is essential for the development of healthcare policies and services, service redesign and provision of care. It has been shown that co-production results in better outcomes for everyone involved.
