From our friends at the ESTEEM Team:
Dear FTWW Community
We are conducting a project to develop a measure of the costs related to having menopausal symptoms for use in the ESTEEM trial which is looking at the use of testosterone when added to hormone replacement therapy (HRT).
The current ways of measuring costs don’t capture many of the services that those experiencing menopausal symptoms may be using. We need your help to develop this new measure. We are inviting healthcare professionals who care for women experiencing menopausal symptoms to take part in an online survey to tell us which healthcare resources (for example GP appointments, blood tests, counselling) are related to having menopausal symptoms and wider resources (for example time off work, personal costs for alternative therapies).
We want to learn which of these items are the most important to be included in this new measure that will be used in the ESTEEM trial and be made available to other researchers working in menopause research.
