We’re delighted to reveal that our Founder and CEO, Debbie, is a finalist in Chwarae Teg’s – Womenspire Awards 2018, Community Activist category.
Debbie is incredibly dedicated, and works tirelessly for women in Wales. We are so pleased to see her getting recognised for her achievements.
Chwarae Teg received over 400 amazing nominees for the 2018 awards, and found that picking finalists was extremely hard this year.

There are many examples of women who have contributed hugely to our communities – particularly at times of crisis or challenge. The purpose of this award is to bring to our attention those women who have done just this but have gone unrecognised. The winner will be an unsung hero – someone who tends to hide from the limelight but whose community recognise their contribution and hold them up as a role model for other women and girls across Wales.”
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Tuesday 5th June 2018, please wish her good luck, and watch this space everyone!
