We would like to invite you to attend one of our drop-in stakeholder sessions to discuss the Women’s Health Hubs project within BCUHB.
The women’s health hubs project is a part of the Women’s Health Plan, which can be accessed here.
The project involves establishing a ‘pathfinder’ women’s health hub within each Health Board by March 2026.
Part of this project is scoping the baseline data within women’s health services to understand these services and how they can be improved.
The first year of the project involves focusing on the three priority areas of women’s health: menstrual health, contraception and abortion services, and menopause care.
Within BCUHB, data has been collected on these three areas, and we would like to invite you to attend one of our stakeholder sessions to discuss this data and engage with you on what the ‘pathfinder’ hub in BCUHB may involve to improve women’s health services.
The sessions will be run by Nia Boughton, the clinical lead for the women’s health hubs project in BCUHB and Emily Evans, project manager from NHS Performance and Improvement, working with BCUHB on this project.
Please find four separate stakeholder sessions below. These will be the same session repeated, so please feel free to choose one that suits your availability:
• 16th July 2-3pm
• 17th July 1-2pm
• 22nd July 1-2pm
• 24th July 10-11am
Please join via the links above for the corresponding date and time of your chosen session. Alternatively, if you would like one of these invitations to be forwarded to you, or if you have any questions, please contact: Emily.evans18@wales.nhs.uk.
Thank you!
