The consultation on Welsh Government’s upcoming Draft Disabled People’s Rights plan is now open.
The plan, based on the work of the Disability Rights Taskforce (of which FTWW is a member organisation), sets out a 10-year ambition and the long-term outcomes the Welsh Government is working towards to ensure disabled people can flourish as equal members of Welsh society, and to challenge discrimination and prejudice.
The 12-week consultation welcomes input from individuals, community groups, businesses and organisations, with particular emphasis on hearing directly from disabled people about their priorities. The consultation is open until 7 August 2025, and you can find out more here.
