FTWW Volunteer, Laura Ann, speaks to BBC Radio Wales
Following the very exciting initial findings from the Decode ME study, which found that people with a Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME/CFS) diagnosis have significant genetic differences in their DNA compared to the general population, we were delighted to hear BBC Radio Wales cover the study – and people’s lived experiences – in detail during an episode of The Phone in with Oliver Hides.
FTWW Volunteer, Laura Ann Moulding, was interviewed about her experiences and what the study means to patients. You can tune in from 1:11 to hear her, but we’d recommend listening to the entire programme; other interviewees include Professor Chris Ponting from Decode ME, and Rob Messenger and Rhian Noble-Jones, who are part of the ME Voices Wales Team, which FTWW runs in partnership with our good friends at WAMES.
