Thursday 1st May: CEDAR publishes its NHS Wales Lupus Service Evaluation
FTWW and Volunteer Autoimmune Champion, Dalila, is cited in this groundbreaking report which sought to bring together the experiences of both patients living with lupus and the clinicians supporting them. Many of the gaps highlighted apply equally to people living with other rare autoimmune diseases in Wales, over 80% of whom will be female, including diagnostic delays and a lack of joined-up care. We look forward now to these being addressed by the NHS Wales Executive’s MSK Clinical Network.
