We were thrilled to be invited to take to the main stage at this year’s Everywoman Festival, with Engagement Officer, Dee, a panellist alongside NHS Wales Women’s Health Clinical Lead, Dr Helen Munro, and Director of the new Wales Women’s Health Research Centre, Professor Jacky Boivin, and Chaired by the Chief Nursing Officer, Sue Tranka.
Our volunteers did an impeccable job of running our information stand throughout the event, responding to queries and giving out resources to 1500 attendees.
The Empowering Women’s Health: Research, Policy & Change panel discussed the NHS Wales Women’s Health Plan, exciting new research and how to develop coproduction opportunities, and the Women’s Health Wales Coalition, which FTWW chairs. We received excellent feedback from the audience, many of whom were healthcare professionals interested in developing women’s health services.
Huge thanks to our volunteers for giving their time and expertise, and to the Everywoman organisers for inviting us!
