As followers of FTWW will likely know, FTWW is the third sector Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) co-lead in WHRW. We are therefore delighted to share this fantastic opportunity to join the Centre’s PPIE Advisory Group, perfect for those with a keen interest in women’s health:
Women’s Health Research Wales (WHRW) is recruiting members for its Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) Advisory Group. Members will work in partnership with researchers, clinicians, and public contributors to support meaningful and inclusive patient and public involvement across WHRW’s activities and support the embedding of high-quality PPI approaches within women’s health research.
Role responsibilities include contributing advice on research priorities, governance, and future direction from a public and lived-experience perspective. Members will also support the strengthening of WHRW’s public voice, inclusivity, and accountability. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to women’s health research, influence decision making, and play an active role in shaping meaningful patient and public involvement within a supportive and collaborative environment.
